Unsolved Mysteries has been one of Netflix’s most successful docuseries so far, and the proof lies in its renewal time and again, which brings us to Volume 4. This series isn’t just about serial killers or bad roommates or supernatural discoveries but an intriguing combination of different kinds of mysteries that surround us every day, which truly sets it apart from the rest.

Much like the first three seasons, Unsolved Mysteries Volume 4 is also an interesting addition to the growing franchise, and it most definitely will keep you on the edge of your seats.

Unsolved Mysteries Volume 4 is More Intense and Intriguing

The first episode of Unsolved Mysteries Volume 4 is very carefully placed because this is the episode that sets the tone for the whole season. There are a total of five episodes, which means 5 different stories to dive into, and we start with one of the most infamous cases known to humankind, Jack the Ripper.

As we mentioned, carefully placed, and successfully too!

Everyone has heard about Jack the Ripper, even if they might not know the whole story, which first left us wondering why it is a part of this series, to begin with.

Turns out, Unsolved Mysteries has information that hasn’t been disclosed before that really dives deep into the unsolved case which has robbed several people of their sleep for a long time now.

It is shocking how many people have been blamed without evidence when it comes to Jack the Ripper, but the intrigue is truly mind-boggling.

The episode implores stories of different people who can contribute to the story, and the rest of the episodes in Unsolved Mysteries Volume 4 follow a similar pattern, which makes for great storytelling.

The second episode of the series, “Body in the Basement,” takes the viewers to Calgary in 2015 as we revisit the death of Amanda Antoni. The circumstances surrounding her death were one of the talking points in this episode, and while this was no Jack the Ripper, it was still incredibly strange. This was also proof that none of the stories in this docuseries had to be sensational to engage the viewers.

Authors, lead investigators, police officers, and many others are interviewed over the span of five episodes, and these interviews are paired with some archival material, and re-enactment of the incidents which add to the element of suspense and shock.

The best episode of Unsolved Mysteries Volume 4 has to be episode 4 for us, titled, “Murder, Centre Stage.” This particular story almost felt like an immersive one, which can be said for the rest too, but only to an extent.
